Today Catholic Youth Camp cancelled its summer season. 
It made me cry even though I already had pulled Anna from her week (scheduled for early June). It made me cry even though I was hoping that they wouldn't have camp and put kids at risk. I am so sad for this lady here, who is the camp director. She works all year to run a summer camp and now it is not happening. They just built beautiful new cabins. I think Anna will still go next year, but our years are numbered. We started 8 years ago at this camp (Carolyn after 5th grade, Matthew always went to Boy Scout camp) and have many wonderful memories.
