Hardest day of pandemic, hands down.  After leaving Carolyn in Iowa City yesterday.

Before she left she made me these book marks.

With sweet messages.

It was easy to start the pandemic....bringing Matthew home, the other kids home safe from school.  This is harder.  Sending Carolyn and Matthew back to Iowa City, soon the others back to school soon.

Joel made Arroz con Leche and I might have eaten a weeks worth.  

Definite comfort food.  The boys tried to comfort me (Anna was with a friend).  Tomorrow is a new day!
