I wanted to make this cute bag following a patter I found on: "The Inspired Wren" blog.
It turned out great, but a little small. I wasn't worried about wasting fabric because the black fabric is left over from my dad's chair and I bought the yellow when I thought I would make re-usable sandwich bags for the kid's lunches YEARS AGO....haha (it never happened....I read that you have to be careful with the fabric you use to be close to food and so I just bought some plastic boxes).Anyway, Anna I expanded the pattern and she helped me make this for my sister's birthday. She can use it when she goes to babysit her grandbabies or to book club or to the grocery store. It is very sturdy because the handles go all the way under the bag and they are reinforced at the top!
If you can, try to look at the words....very fitting for my sister!
You are so creative! Those bags are so cute!
