Once I don't post for awhile, I feel like there is so much to say, I can't possibly say it all so I don't say anything. (Because I would like to post about Spring break and Easter...) Well here is a quick look at just a few photos to give a feel for our end of winter, start of spring without trying to include it all!
We went to see my folks over spring break. It was a nice trip and they will be coming here on Friday for Joel's First Communion.
Here is Anna, today actually, when we left Mr. Potato Head on the door of a friend's house. We called it "traveling Potato Head" and welcomed them to keep him or pass him on. Just for fun - in secret!!!
Here is Matthew doing a project he thought of a few months ago....making those little puff ball pets for his siblings for Easter. He won a few selling magazines at school and the other kids loved them. I thought it was a super sweet idea.
Here is Carolyn, AKA fisher-woman. She doesn't mind baiting a hook or taking the fish off....clearly traits not learned from me. We stayed at a fun cabin overnight during spring break and then fished at Red Rock Lake (ok I didn't fish, but I sat by the lake)
Here is Joel playing basketball. Since baseball starts tomorrow, glad to be posting this picture today.
I will post later in the week - can't miss First Communion pics!!
So happy to see your blog post today, Ms. Betsy. I can get overwhelmed by what I want to post on my blog too and in fact, I am right now. One post at a time, right? I can't wait for the First Holy Communion post!
ReplyDeleteTraveling potatohead? Tell us more about that! Sounds awesome. I have a box of potato heads that might be on their way out of here. We just started basketball....loving it so far.
