Joel started his 10th season of baseball.
Not kidding, I counted. His first year he was one of those little fries where the whole team runs after every ball that hit.
Joel is a Dodger this year. He is playing Intermediate Little League (6th and 7th graders).
As expected, he is playing his best baseball ever. Unfortunately, his team has lost every game! The good thing about being on a less than stellar team, is that you look pretty good if you have some skills. He has gotten to pitch much more than he ever did last year and more than he would if he played with a bunch of super-stars. To be honest though, it is tough to lose.every.game.
Oh well, there was a soccer team like that one year and this year his basketball team was fantastic. You win some, you lose some! You probably learn more by losing. It just isn't as much fun.
10 seasons! We are just experiencing our first here with Mason. It's a whole new ballgame!
