We celebrated Joel's birthday a little early, since his actual birthday would be spent at a show choir competition. (He and Anna left at 6:45am and we returned home after 11:00pm)
I had one of the Spectrum boys take this picture in the "homeroom" for Joel's birthday. I head they sang happy birthday a few times and his friend was going to buy him a cookie when the seller gave it to him free for his birthday. Still not an ideal way to spend a birthday (in my opinion). They won first place though, which was nice.
