We love the XKCD comic strip at our house...plus we may own all the books written by the author Randall Munroe. He is a physicist who worked for NASA...which is an additional reason this particular strip is funny.
I read the article related to this comic. It was the University of Illinois and the Physicists took the joke well. They said they estimated that 7000 students would go to 3 parties a week. (which is a lot of parties for a pandemic if you ask me!) What they said they didn't predict is that people would go out and about with a knowing Covid positive test result! UGH!
