5/6/2020 part 2

There have been days during the pandemic where there wasn't much to report...but not yesterday!!!  

 Most fun item of the day!  Codenames.  I knew it would be good based on the recommendation of a friend and Matthew's response when it arrived in the mail!  (He had heard of the online version and couldn't wait to play.)

 Carolyn and Anna as Spymasters....in this role you give clues to your "operatives" so they can find your spies in the field...without guessing your opponents spies, innocent bystanders or the assassin (this guy makes you lose the game....we never made that mistake yesterday)

 Six of six loved this game....but I did decide that we won't "pick teams" going forward as that could hurt feelings.  Plus since Ken was undefeated, everyone will want to pick him :0)

My walking buddy's church is moving to a new (smaller) location and they were getting rid of this barely used couch and chair.  They were in the pastor's study.  Originally we were just going to get the chair because Matthew was going to use his futon as a couch, but this was in such perfect shape and comfortable....we decided it was worth figuring out where to keep it for a few months.

 Originally Matthew as supposed to help me go get the chair, but he was in a meeting with his lab partners and that was definitely a priority.  So Carolyn, Joel and I went to the church.  While there Carolyn saw this 2nd chair that was being given away and fell in love.  It is now her "writing chair", ready for when she needs to furnish an apartment.  (My cleaning escapade yesterday and her new chair are inspiring her to get her room ship-shape!!)
