April 30 was a lovely day. Matthew and I went for a bike ride so he could see this tree I found. (The guy loves things like this. He loves to grow things and see things that are beautifully grown. We think this is an apple and crab-apple tree grafted together.)
Carolyn, Joel and I walked to the Woodland Reserve. It is a little bit a nature tucked away in Ankeny. It is close to a development of houses, but if you let yourself believe, you can think you are away in the forest!!
(well...there is a path that is less forest like :0)
